About Me

I have a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering from the University of Waterloo, and Lactation Educator and Consulting training from the University of California San Diego.  I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Certified Lactation Educator.

I saw several health practitioners who did their best to help me with breastfeeding, but two weeks after I started, I was exhausted and ready to give up.  It was an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) who finally gave me the support I needed.

I decided to go to school to pursue Lactation Consulting.  I completed my lactation education and consulting training at the University of California San Diego, and I completed over 350 clinical hours under the supervision of a physician at a Calgary breastfeeding clinic.

I hope to provide you with evidence based lactation education and breastfeeding support so that you can make informed decisions about feeding your baby.
